Services Project Management, Site Supervision
Description SPI Consultancy has been engaged to provide the Client with consultancy services within the framework of the Employer's Representative responsibilities and duties delegated by the Employer in accordance with FIDIC EPC/Turnkey Contract. As a part of construction management division assisting in supervising and coordinating the PMC site team in managing the project works for quality control and conformance with the design intent. Providing advisory and input on review submissions by the contractor, inspection of the project works, proactive management of the programme for the works, planning and supervising interfaces between the construction and operation teams. Among others, the role included representation of the Employer on Site, ensuring that Contract clauses are adhered to and respected, participation in value engineering sessions, continuous monitoring of project progress and implementation of remedying measures and assistance to the Employer in resolution of disputes.
The project scope includes detailed design of the works by the EPC contractor, dredging, reclamation, construction of berths, aids to navigation, pavements, terminal buildings, all associated services including potable and firewater supply, sewage, drainage and electrical/IT as well as installation of material handling equipment and systems.

- Extension of existing 420m berth by 380m at an angle to the existing berth
- All engineering and design works
- Marine fixtures
- Navigational aids
- Integration with existing facilities
- Civil provisions for electrical, mechanical, firefighting and water supply
